Whether it’s Black History Month, Pride, or International Women’s Day, celebrating heritage and identity-based holidays is seen as a meaningful step in demonstrating a commitment to racial and gender equity, supporting employees from diverse backgrounds, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. While it can be a fine balance of honoring progress and recognizing the ongoing journey toward racial and gender equity, it matters to incorporate these observances into workplace culture in meaningful and impactful ways.
